The Tees Valley Resource Efficiency Club (REC) is led by the Tees Valley Green Business Network and targets businesses in the Tees Valley. The club has been set up with funding from Envirowise under the Government’s BREW (Business Resource Efficiency and Waste programme).
The REC has supported members in two main ways:
1. Through a programme of events which started with a full-day event looking at the “seven steps to effective resource management" (Powerpoint presentation) approach.
This was followed by a series of eight half-day workshops covering a range of waste and resource management topics.
