Energy Efficiency

The Carbon Trust, a government-backed organisation that promotes the efficient use of energy, estimates that cutting energy costs by 20 per cent can have the same bottom-line benefit as a 5 per cent increase in sales for many businesses.

You´ll also be doing your bit to protect the environment and reduce the scale of climate change, while improving your company´s environmental image too.

Information available from

The Carbon Trust provides a range of information on energy saving. Taking a walk-round survey of your business will help you identify any energy that is being wasted and focus on the key areas in which savings can be made. The Action Plan Tool will help you identify the key actions that you can undertake at your site to save energy.

If your energy bill is over £50,000 per year, you may also benefit from a free energy survey.

There are also on line benchmarking tools to help you compare your energy use with other similar organisations.
